Here’s the IMDB synopsis if my career was a TBS show.

(A better network is in negotiations)

“Rust-belt born all-girl band lead guitarist moves to Los Angeles to make her mark as an illustrative artist, only to find some great friends, a blended graphic design livelihood of rooted positions and mercurial gigs, and an 80’s-style Honda Elite scooter. Reverse-manifest destiny brings her to Chicago, where she remodels into an authenticated marketing art director, grows an unfortunate love for vegetables on hot dogs, and meets a new male character (who turns out to be her husband! *crowd gasps*). Traversing into EST, she rises like a phoenix (ok maybe not a phoenix but let’s say a cool northeastern hawk) influencing & guiding large teams to create award-winning work for global brands her mom actually recognizes. The opening title sequence features a siamese cat who accompanies her the whole way and a Built To Spill song nobody remembers. The ending highlights a Shamalon-twist where the show’s narrator is actually HER DAUGHTER telling the whole story.”

call. Netflix. now.

Beyond accolades that include my Hollister holiday campaign earning the brand’s best Black Friday sales of all time, here are some other humanizing claim-to-fames:

1. An array of Downy social media posts my scrappy agency team and I put together featuring myself as accompanying talent being picked up for OOH ads in NYC.

2. Billboards on Sunset Blvd. and across Los Angeles for YMI Jeans I was able to humble-brag to friends “Oh, did you see my billboard in Hollywood? Yeah, THEE Hollywood.”

3. Selling enough non-licensed Hunger Games themed tees on Etsy that Lionsgate contacted me for trademark infringement, a convo ending in dropping the cease and desist with my somewhat-low-but-apparently-high experience with trademark laws, leading to a partnership for poster illustrations with Leah Bardugo, author of Shadow & Bone – season 2 coming to Netflix 2022!*

*not a Netflix ad

At the end of the day, I’m an experienced leader who manages large cross-functional teams through an entire launch from pitch to production. DESIGN-THINKING. Based in cultural and user journey insights, I put time in early to nail down unique, smart concepts that are scaleable all the way down line.

WORK SMARTER. I push for flexible timelines, balanced workloads throughout the team, and proactivity in every place possible to avoid spin and burnout.

LIVE CURIOUS. Regarding things in pop culture or in how things work, I use newness as a driver to influence forward-thinking.

ADVOCATE FOR CHANGE. I’m excited in what could be next, in and out of the office, and am comfortable working within ambiguity.

BE DEDICATED. I completely immerse into the worlds being built beyond simple consulting from overhead. I also advocate for people who work along side me everyday – If you build up your team you build a powerhouse that can’t be stopped.
